How do I find my products that are out of stock?
Net32's OMS system now has the capability for you to view and download all of your items that are out of stock*.
In OMS, go to Tools -> Product Inventory Management
Use one of the following search options to find products that are out of stock:
One way is to search for products that are Not For Sale (Product For Sale = No) but have an Alive Price (Alive Price = Yes). (Note “Alive” prices refer to products with at least one active price break.)
This search method works well provided you control your product being for sale or not by the inventory count.
Another way is to search for products with an Alive Price (Alive Price = Yes) and Inventory of 0 (Min = 0; Max = 0). This search methods work well if you “turn off” a product by deactivating all price breaks. In that case, you will want to limit your search by Alive Price = Yes and filter by the Inventory of 0 inventory (Min = 0; Max = 0).
Once you have captured all the product you want to review, you can either download the list by clicking on the "Download these products to csv" link (1), or, you can update your inventory counts on the screen (2). Don't forget to click the Submit button to finalize your changes.
Note that only 50 products can be displayed on the screen for manual update but all products that fall within your search parameters will be downloaded.
* This feature only covers items whose fulfillment policy is set to "Stock". MFR Orders and Drop Ship items will not be included in this file.
