How Do I Deactivate (Delete) Products that I no longer want to sell?

In lieu of deleting products, Net32 gives vendors the option of deactivating products* they no longer wish to sell.

Deactivating products involves two steps:

1. Setting the products inventory to 0 (zero)

2. Making sure that all price breaks are inactive

Option 1: Using API

You can use the Product API to make all price breaks inactive and set your inventory to 0 (zero). Documentation for the Product API can be found on your API portal.

Option2: Utilizing Inventory File Upload

If you are not using the Product API, you can still use the Inventory File Upload feature but you will still need to deactivate all price breaks manually:

  1.  prepare and upload an inventory file via OMS -> Tools -> Product Inventory File Upload. Click here for detailed instructions and guidelines on formatting your inventory file.
  2. go to OMS -> Tools -> Product Management, search for the products you want to update, and uncheck the Active box. Remember to click Submit to save your changes. See below section for more detail information.

Option 3: Deactivate Items Manually:

Log into your OMS account and go to OMS -> Tools -> Product Management

1) Search for the product you want to disable by using as many search criteria as needed

2) Uncheck the Active box in the Current Price Break section and mark as out of stock.

3) Don't forget to click Submit to save your changes.

* This process is recommended for products that are no longer part of your product portfolio. Deactivated products will still be listed on your OMS pages but you will no longer appear as a seller for that product.
